Day one Provence.

Firstly a couple of pictures of the old floor and walls in the kitchen at Piccalilly..
There will be a contrasting shot on our return!

We arrived in Provence via the high speed TGV from Paris (without our luggage, it was still in New York). We were picked up at the station in Avignon, by 6:00 in the evening we were at La Louche in Caromb and unpacked what belongings we had in our cary-on bags, and sat down on the terrace overlooking the Mont Ventoux, in front of a huge platter of cheese, grapes, pate, foie gras, fresh figs and preserves, having not eaten for a long time it was quite welcome! We ate until we felt sick, had a shower and crawled into bed.
